Qingque Traces Overview And Priority
Are Qingque's Eidolons Worth It?
Qingque's DPS is entirely luck-based in Honkai: Star Rail, making her something of a unique character. Qingque is simultaneously reliable and unreliable, able to dish out massive AoE damage or underwhelming single-target damage. Due to her RNG nature, building her the correct way is crucial.

Clara (and Svarog) is a Physical Destruction five-star character in Honkai: Star Rail. Here is everything you need to know if you want to build her.
If you have the favour of the RNG Gods, you'll find her Skill is incredibly useful when it comes to dealing with groups of enemies. Generally speaking, her Skill is only effective if she draws four of the same tiles in combat, turning her attack into an enhanced AoE. She belongs to the Path of Erudition, specializing in multi-target damage.

Best Qingque Relics And Planar Ornaments
Qingque is a main DPS who attacks using the Quantum element, meaning she will get the most out of the four-piece set from the Genius of Brilliant Stars.
This set isn't available until later in the game, so you should consider using the four-piece Musketeer set as an alternative on Qingque until you can replace it with the Genius set.
Type | Name | Reason |
---|---|---|
Relics | Genius of Brilliant Stars | The Genius of Brilliant Stars set is the standard for Quantum-based DPS characters. The extra Quantum DMG Bonus from the two-piece already makes it quite a good choice for her. However, the true potential of this set shines with the 20 percent DEF shred on the enemies as long as they have the Quantum weakness. |
Pioneer Diver of Dead Waters | This set increases your DMG to debuffed enemies while also increasing your Crit Rate and DMG based on the number of debuffs. This can be great if you're planning to use Qingque with Nihility characters. However, she can't use the double bonus from the four-piece of this set since Qingque doesn't have any debuff application in her kit. | |
Planar Ornaments | Rutilant Arena | Rutilant Arena is the best in slot Ornament set for Qingque as it Basic Attack DMG by 20 percent, which is the main damage source for Qingque. However, you'll need to build at least 70 percent Crit Rate on her to enjoy this buff. |
Space Sealing Station | This ca be a decent early-game choice for Qingque since the extra ATK will help you circumvent the diminishing returns from all the DMG bonuses you get. |
Qingque Relic Stat Priority
While it's important to find the correct set bonus for a character like Qingque, it's even more important to get the right Relic stats. Here's what you should be looking for:
Type | Mai Stat Priority | Sub Stat Priority |
---|---|---|
Head | HP | Crit DMG/Rate > ATK Percent > SPD |
Hands | ATK | Crit DMG/Rate > ATK Percent > SPD |
Body | Crit Rate/DMG | Crit DMG/Rate > ATK Percent > SPD |
Feet | SPD | Crit DMG/Rate > ATK Percent |
Planar Sphere | Quantum DMG Bonus | Crit DMG/Rate > ATK Percent > SPD |
Link Rope | ATK Percent | Crit DMG/Rate > SPD |
You can switch out for ATK Percent boots if you're planning to use Qingque with the likes of Bronya or Sparkle.
Best Light Cones For Qingque
Here are all the Light Cones you can use on Qingque depending on your play style and the availability on your account:
Light Cone | Reason |
---|---|
Before Dawn | Before Dawn fills the gap in Qingque's Crit DMG, which means she can use a Crit Rate Relic to even out her stats. The other effect from this Light Cone is only viable if you have Eidolon level four (E4) with Qingque since it enables a buff to follow-up attacks. She can't make use of this otherwise, but the Light Cone does increase her Skill and Ultimate DMG by 18 percent. Realistically, this should only be given to Qingque if she's at E4. |
The Day The Cosmos Fell | This is an F2P Erudition Light Cone that you can find in the MoC shop, and it essentially gives her a permanent 24 percent ATK and 40 percent Crit DMG bonus as long as you're fighting Quantum-weak enemies. |
Today Is Another Peaceful Day | You can only acquire this Light Cone by buying the premium tier of the Battle Pass, but it can be quite good on Qingque since it gives her a direct DMG boost based on the Energy required for her Ultimate. |
Geniuses' Repose | Geniuses' Repose is excellent for most DPS characters. It works well on a Main DPS Qingque because it gives her a 16 percent ATK boost, and extra Crit DMG each time she defeats an enemy. As the one dealing the most damage, she will get the kills, thus buffing her Crit DMG. |
The Seriousness of Breakfast | As an F2P Light Cone, this one is an excellent option for Qingque. It works similarly to the Geniuses' Repose but increases your ATK by 12 percent and buffs it more with each kill. This can be claimed for free and earned from clearing the Echo of War. |
Sagacity | This Light Cone increases Qingque's ATK by 48 percent for two turns after using her Ultimate, which is quite massive. It can be a phenomenal choice for the early game until you can get the free Light Cone mentioned above. |
Qingque Traces Overview And Priority
Traces can be enhanced and leveled like a skill tree. You have several ability nodes to activate and all of them cost certain materials to do so. Qingque's Attack, Ultimate, Talent, and Skill are key abilities to level up first. These will increase her damage output, which is exactly what you want from Qingque.
Ability Name | Type | Description |
---|---|---|
Flower Pick | Basic Attack | Deals Quantum DMG to one target. This throws away one jade tile in Qingque's hand. |
Cherry On Top! | Buffed Basic Attack | Deals massive AoE DMG to three adjacent enemies but can't recover Skill Points. |
A Scoop of Moon | Skill | Draw two jade tiles and increase your DMG by 16 percent each time you use the skill. Stacks four times. When you have a full hand, use your Basic Attack to deal AoE Quantum DMG. |
A Quartet? Woo-Hoo! | Ultimate | Deals Quantum DMG to all enemies. Obtain four jade tiles of the same suit after use. |
Celestial Jade | Talent | Qingque draws one jade tile at the start of each ally's turn. When Qingque has four of the same suit, she enters the Hidden Hand state. This increases Qingque's attack by 43 percent, turning her Basic Attack into an AoE called Cherry on Top! |
Game Solitare | Technique | Draw two jade tiles when a battle begins. |
Bide Time | Bonus Ability | Using Qingque's Skill to draw jade tiles increases the DMG boost she gets. |
Tile Battle | Bonus Ability | Restore one Skill Point when using Qingque's Skill. This can only happen once per battle. |
Winning Hand | Bonus Ability | Increases Qingque's SPD by ten percent for one turn after using Cherry on Top! |
While upgrading Qingque's Traces, you'd want to focus on her Basic Attack and Skill first to get the maximum DMG bonus possible. You can then focus on her Talent followed by the Ultimate. It's important to level up all her main traces while unlocking the Bonus Abilities and other Trace nodes whenever possible.
Are Qingque's Eidolons Worth It?
Qingque's best Eidolons are her first and fourth, but they aren't required for her to be a decent damage dealer. Everyone gets one free copy of Qingque after clearing a certain stage in the Hall of Memories. Due to this, she is technically a F2P character.
If you happen to get lucky on a banner pull, you can benefit from the increased ten percent Ultimate DMG increase it offers.
Her fourth Eidolon gives her a 24 percent chance to gain Autarky in battle when using her Skill. If Autarky triggers, Qingque's next Attack or Enhanced Attack will proc a follow-up attack on the same target.
Qingque can be pulled from Banners, but your chances of getting her are fairly low unless she's featured in the Limited Banner. Broadly speaking, you shouldn't aim to get her fourth Eidolon unless you really like using her.
