I grew up in the 90s trading Pokémon cards on the playground. I built a collectible pin company called Pin Club and it quickly became one of the top brands + licensees in the category over 20+ licenses! | VeeCon speaker.

I am happy to share our Pin Club booth for NYCC (New York Comic Con - Oct 17th-20th)! ☄️ We are going ALLLL out! 😤💪🏽We’re excited to represent all of our amazing licensed partners, brands and showcase all of our beautiful pin products in this incredibly designed (40x20) booth! And..yes the lanterns will light up too🏮✨ As a leader in the category we wanted to really make sure we created a space for the community where they have a great experience shopping, trading, meeting other pin collectors and truly embody the soul of Pin Club. Since 2011, we have been a staple visit at Comic-Con and we are thrilled to see the fans and pin community again every year. I invite you all to come by our booth at New York Comic Con {Booth #1223} and immerse yourself in the pin chaos! 🔥#newyorkcomiccon #nycc #nycc2024 #pinclub

In this short video, you can see the coding process with FootPointer. First, you click on the player button, then the action button, and finally, you mark where the event occurred on the football field. Also recently, I implemented an automatic fullscreen function in FootPointer. This is very helpful during match analysis because it is not always possible to see what is happening in the episode in a small window.#FootPointer #MatchAnalysis #FootballAnalytics

Do you know what's the most expensive sports trading card in the world? 💰 It's 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle worth $12.6 million. Have you ever wondered how such value can be protected from #counterfeiting? How do you verify its #originality? 🤔 Manually? With a QR code or a chip? There's a better way. For any card, in any packaging. Vera AI – the ultimate weapon of #trust! 🛡️

When opportunity knocks in unexpected ways. I agree with John Roman politics is something as a business to steer clear of AND this was a national level of publicity that found BattlBox through its community. Could they have done nothing? YesBut what message does doing nothing do?Saying something and saying nothing are both forms of communication to our audience - both our community and potential customers - They made those tagging them feel seen from the tags and comments they were leaving AND handled this with such grace. Great case study for how to handle this type of situation.

TIME TO BRING OUT THE BIG GUNS.We're going to have a little colour grading game now.In the style of squabbling 6 year olds in the playground.None of this fence-sitting 'well on one hand, Resolve is very good at xxx, but then to be fair Baselight is great at xxx'.No one (really) wants that diplomatic guff.Even on LinkedIn.Now, we're never going to get anywhere by arguing which is 'better'.So. Here's the rules. They're simple:1) Say which you PREFER.2) Say why.I'll go first, because, you know, only fair.1) Resolve (surprise surprise)2) Because I'm way more familiar with it than Baselight. I find it simpler, more intuitive, and much easier to look up and find out answers to specific questions.I've used Baselight. I know it can do incredible things (I use Daylight every day, for one). But I feel there's a perception that it's a better system at least PARTLY because it's vastly more expensive to own. And when something is more expensive, it's more exclusive, it's more 'high end'.OKAY. Over to you.Remember, let's keep it friendly, yes?RESOLVE or BASELIGHT?Which do you prefer? And why?

The arcade business has not been great, but not just this summer - it's been like this since last year for many of us.What realistic & practical strategies can we take as operators/business owners to keep the doors open while the storm rages on? I share the thoughts that I have, while hoping to generate discussion among others in the industry:#recession #businesshttps://lnkd.in/gQQVb4tz
